Radley Metzger's The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann Special Edition

What an amazing time to be a Radley Metzger fan! With new special editions out of Score, The Lickerish Quartet and The Image out on DVD and Blu-Ray it's been one great release after another. Perhaps the most exciting releases though are yet to come with Distribpix gearing up to release Metzger's legendary 'Henry Paris' films completely uncut and loaded with extras. First up is Metzger's 1974 'Paris' shot work The Private Afternoon's of Pamela Mann. Distribpix's edition will be arriving within the upcoming weeks in a double-disc set offering the rare film up completely uncut in a brand-new HD transfer from an original 35 mm print. Extras on the extremely impressive sounding set include a documentary including outtakes, deleted scenes, alternative footage and more! There are also interviews with stars Eric Edwards and Georgina Spelvin plus a full-length commentary track with Metzger himself. Details on all the extras, plus screenshots, can be found at Distribpix's (NSFW) official site and blog. This is truly a magical time for Radley Metzger fans and this DVD of The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann is a huge and important release.
